I’ve been diving deeply into the process of my own heart and what it takes to tell the truth and keep telling the truth while opening to joy.
Recently I’ve been listening to the Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer on Audible. It’s full of courage, deep honesty, giant open joyful hearts and connection. I highly recommend it!
I am inviting you into a deeper connection with me. Not by inviting you to buy something (though you could) but I’d really like to know what you want.
What are your questions about money? What are your questions about how to make it, how to track it, how to engage with money?
What’s top of mind? Or the thing that keeps coming back over and over?
I’m asking because I’d like to give you that. I have tons of worksheets, blog articles, classes, videos, meditations, etc. And I want you to have the ones that are going to get you to the next level.
Because the truth is that this relationship, like any relationship, is a partnership. And I want our partnership to be strong and in order to have that
So I’ve put together a 6 questions survey to make sure I’m giving you what you really want so that we create an even stronger partnership.
As a bonus, I’ll pick one person who completes the survey to get an hour of time with me one-to-one to ask me anything and do a deep dive into your money situation. Please click here to fill it out: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FPRVZFF
And then I can start giving you all the stuff you really want!
Today’s Money Tip
One of the first things I help clients do is find all their money leaks – the places where money just leaks out of their budget. There are lots of different ways this can happen. Some of them are easy to find and some of them don’t occur to you unless you’ve looked at a lot of people’s money (like I have).
A place where money regularly leaks out of people’s hands (and budgets) is the exceptions to the rule.
Many people have exceptions to their money or budgeting rules. For examples: it’s ok to buy a thing that’s less than a certain amount. For me that amount has been $20 or the cash in my pocket because I’d tell myself “it’s already accounted for.” I took it out of my bank account so it’s tracked.
Another big one is people frequently don’t track cash, even if they track all their “other” money.
One more: people track all their money when they are doing their net worth, except their student loans.
If you’re tracking money, you will never get a handle on it and tame your money monsters if you don’t track ALL of it.
What is measured can be managed. But if you don’t look at it, you won’t see it.
None of those rules are bad, this is not about judgement. But they can lead to wasting money if you don’t use the products/services. or if you spend that $20, 5 times – that’s 100 bucks! So I’ve put together a list of 77 Money Leaks and How to Stop Them Right Now!
Most folks have something going on about money. And I’ve never met an entrepreneur that couldn’t use some help with money: making, managing it or multiplying it. And it’s totally not your fault. This stuff isn’t taught in school. That’s part of my mission: to really help passion driven entrepreneurs really get their money crap together so that they can get their work out into the world!
Take a look at 77 Money Leaks and How To Stop Them Right Now! and let me know what you think.
Oh and if you dig it, pass the link on to a friend so that they can get the scoop too!
